Dedication of New Garden of Remembrance
A short service of dedication for Huddersfield's new Garden of Remembrance took place in the town's Market Place on Saturday, 5th November 2016. The service was followed by the Last Post, two minutes silence and Reveille.
The Mayor of Kirklees, Councillor Jim Dodds, laid a wreath during the ceremony, which was attended by members of the Huddersfield branch of the Royal British Legion, Huddersfield Veterans and the Army, Sea and Air Cadets.
A short service was performed by the Vicar of Huddersfield, the Rev Simon Moor.
